Welcome to Choi Kwang Do, Browns Bays full time professional
family Martial Arts School.
With schools in Browns Bay and
Greenhithe, we are an internationally affiliated and
approved to teach the art of Grandmaster Kwang Jo Choi, 9th
Degree Black Belt and founder of the organisation that is
changing the face of Martial Arts.
Choi Kwang Do is a unique martial art based on scientific
principles and developed to promote optimum health, fitness and
self-defense, not winners in sports competitions.
Developed by Grandmaster Kwang Jo Choi between 1978 and 1987, it
has proven to be the most effective martial arts system in the
world. Choi Kwang Do's natural, easy-to-learn, sequential
movements maximise your body's force-producing capabilities, but
more importantly, they increase opportunities to enhance your
health.
“We provide programs for Pre Schoolers, School Children, Adults,
Senior Citizens, ladies only and Families. Our Martial Art
provides a unique opportunity for not only individuals of all
ages, but is one of the few physical activities where parents
can participate with their children in our very popular family
class. A very common experience is for mum to bring their
son or daughter classes, then after watching for a few weeks she
joins in, followed shortly after by dad and siblings. Our
classes are typically 50/50 male/female with Saturdays proving
very popular for father and son/daughter. So whatever your
level of fitness or self confidence, don’t be shy, come along
and have a look.
With over 400 schools Worldwide, Choi Kwang Do is the ideal
martial art for children, adults and senior citizens of all
fitness levels.
As a family orientated school, we utilise practical movements
and equipment training to enhance inner confidence and peace of
mind. All this is taught in a non-competitive, non contact
environment by instructors who care about their students.
